More gremlins on this trip.

Boy last night early evening we had a short, thank goodness, wind storm pass through. I’ve been dusting all day trying to get the sand picked up. And it really cooled down during the night. Bill turned the heater on when we got up. Now it is nice and warm outside and in and the AC is running. Love desert weather.
Here is picture of our brand new kitchen faucet, I want one like it for our home. Very nice.
Oh boy, Bill woke up with a doozy of a cold. Sore throat, sneezing and runny nose. Good thing we didn’t have to go anywhere today. We did have a nice surprise. John and Shirley, our friends from Idaho who are on their way to Mexico, stopped by to visit with us for a short time. They had to be in Yuma this evening to pick up something.
After they left we went across the street to La Casa to have some lunch.
While she was serving us she was telling us about a local customer who’d come in earlier and was upset because there wasn’t any chocolate cake left. Waitress said it is a really good cake. Just for the heck of it I asked her what kind of cake they had left – thinking it’s my birthday I should have some cake. Well she went to look and came back and said all they had was - TA TA – carrot cake! I asked her how good it was. She said excellent, homemade by the owner’s wife. So of course I ordered a piece to go.
Was watching NSCAR and #18, my favorite driver, wrecked his car just into the first lap of practice. Bad enough he had to go to a backup car…OH NO! Maybe Bill will get his wish and Kyle will drop out of the chase so we can go to Mexico sooner.
Just now watching qualifying - #18 is fastest so far. Really had a good lap.Well luck isn't running his way today. He only made it through the 1st round of qualifying when his car started leaking water. Couldn't make the 2nd and 3rd rounds, will start 24th.
The Shady Lane RV park has a few more people in it then it has had the last couple of times we’ve been here. But still mostly empty. Here we are – nice level spaces – on gravel but we don’t care.
Speaking of Arvi – Bill finally got the web address on the back end. Along with the maps of where we have been during our RVing life.
Just some pictures from the park. This poor tree deserves and E for effort. New life on the broken part.
And some of the cacti here.

We are now waiting for another mobile RV repair person. Our automatic ha ha leveling jacks won't work. When we try to get them to work the power to the jack controller just shuts off. GRRRR
The newest sign language video from our daughter-in-law.
Something New.... Let us know what you think..

Creating a baby sign language curriculum has been a project I've been working on the past 5 years, before our first video went viral.
